Schools

Helping Thousands of Children Access Education

FFW works in partnership with Edify to provide capacity-enhancing loans to low-fee, independent schools in Liberia. The FFW School Loan Program enables under-resourced schools to improve infrastructure, and to enhance the learning experience for children through technology, educational resources, and training. Since 2013, the program has helped over 300 schools and is growing steadily as a model of improving the quality of education for Liberian children. In the program’s first 6 years, we provided over $350,000 in loan capital to partner schools, reaching over 150,000 students with an improved educational experience.
  • Total Loans Provided to Independent Schools: $350,000
  • # of Partner Schools: 600+
  • Students Reached: 200,000+
