Dear Iyabo & Deborah,
Greetings from Liberia! Here we are again with new cases of Ebola Virus Disease in Liberia. The source of the EBV is being traced to a dead dog eaten by 6 people out of whom 2 people were dead already, 2 have been tested positive and the other 2 are being followed up. The village where the re-emergence of EVD started is being vigorously monitored. With the experience of the past outbreak, I think this one could be easily contained before it spreads all over the country. We are back to counting up from the beginning again.
Thanks so much for your continues support and collaboration..
Best regards,

This latest Ebola outbreak confirmed to eating a dog, starving members of our human family eating an animal to live… and we let that happen in this 21st century? We here in the USA celebrate with barbeques and festivities today while so much of our human family is suffering, so much that a family in Liberia needed to eat a dog/bushmeat to survive? I know, if they had money for rice, rice would have been their meal.
When are we going to wake up to the reality that we are one human family? That what affects others affects us all? That we are all in the one same boat, breathing the same air on this one same planet?
Ebola is our issue – not their issue in Liberia and West Africa. It is very personal for me as I love the people and country of Liberia – and pray you will join me in our Oneness.
