Yolanda Tabarez first came to the Foundation in 2011. She dreamed of starting her own business, but needed strong guidance to steer her in the right direction. With the help of the Foundation, Yolanda started her own company making crocheted hats, scarves, and bags.
Yolanda believes that “this Foundation is a great opportunity for those women who want to start a business and be successful in their lives. The Foundation for Women offers all these services at no cost to us and the benefits of being a part of it are unlimited.”

Elsa Urzua has a natural talent for crafts but she didn’t know how to turn it into a profitable business. With the help of the Foundation, she learned how to refine her skills and incorporate innovative styles and materials to produce unique pieces of jewelry.
