USMP Empowerment Curriculum
After an intensive 8-week training, 70 women from the FFW microcredit
centers in San Diego graduated with great pride and a sense of
accomplishment. Each graduate received a certificate of completion after
successfully undertaking the United States Microcredit Program (USMP)
Empowerment Curriculum. The graduates invited their families and friends to
witness the milestone. They decorated their centers and brought delicious
food to celebrate. Many wore graduation caps and took pictures displaying
their certificates for all to see. Their pride and sheer joy was palpable.
