This month only, the program will be free for first time guests! Dr. Natasha Josefowitz is an internationally known writer and keynote speaker. For ten years she had her own program on public radio. She has also been a guest on several radio and TV shows including All Things Considered, The Larry King Show, The Dr. Ruth Show.
Dr. Josefowitz is the best-selling author and award-winning poet of eighteen books and will present her newest work "Been there, Done That, Doing It Better", which tackles the fun & foibles of growing older, featuring witty and humurous observations on life, love, family and the revelations that come with aging. "Pray the Devil Back to Hell" Film Screening
The Grauer School and the Foundation for Women (FFW) will host a screening of the award winning film,"Pray the Devil Back to Hell" on March 6, 2010, at 7:00 p.m. in the Great Room on the campus of the Grauer School located at 1500 S. El Camino Real in Encinitas. Directed by Emmy-winning and Academy Award® nominated filmmaker Gini Reticker and produced by Abigail Disney, the documentary chronicles the true story of the brave Liberian women who came together in prayer to end a horrific civil war and bring peace to their devastated country. Wellness Group
The Foundation For Women Wellness Group meets every 3rd Saturday of the month at the Foundation Center. The meeting is led by Deborah Lindholm. The purpose of the group is to support women who have had life threatening illness. The group focuses on techniques to help women heal. FFW and the San Diego Zoo invite you to see the unique sculptures of Kioko Mwitiki at the San Diego Zoo. Mwitiki is a renowned metal sculptor from Kenya.
